Owned by Australian born Will Ricker, Ricker Restaurants is now in its tenth year of offering stylish destination restaurants across London. Cicada (Clerkenwell) opened in 1997 and was originally planned as an Asian canteen, but quickly changed to a pan-Asian restaurant to btter suit the demands of its Clerkenwell neighbours. Followed by the Great Eastern Dining Room (Shoreditch) a year later, Ricker Restaurnats began to change the perception of pan-Asian cuisine as a foreign food and blended it into the vernacular. The opening of E&O (Notting Hill) in 2001 and Eight Over Eight (Chelsea) in 2003 secured this premise and these latest editions have become high profile celebrity destinations. The latest restaurant in the group, XO (Belsize Park) opened in January 2007 to a fanfare of excitement and welcomed support and continue the successful Ricker Restaurants formula.

As mentioned, XO is the latest restaurant, bar and private events room in the Ricker Restaurants group.
The contemporary Shanghai colonial dining room and long bar offer a stylish destination to indulge in our unique pan-Asian cuisine with the beautifully lit restaurant providing a welcoming atmosphere with fantastic service. The long bar provides a relaxed drinking space with a modern open fire and comfortable lounging areas for cocktails or pre dinner drinks.
XO’s private event room offers an unique dining experience for up to twenty guests for a meal and up to forty guests for a drinks reception. The long ebony table, wall mural and chic seating area makes XO’s private evenings room perfect for intimate occasions with friends, working lunches, or just stylish private dinners.
Open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week, guests can enjoy a meal from the a la carte menu in the restaurant or dim sum from the bar menu throughout the day.

This spring see’s XO to GO launch their XO to YOU service – your event, your way, your place. We will provide the food, the chefs, waiters and bar staff, all we ask is that you provide the venue! Working with you, our Head Chef can create bespoke menus for your canapé, buffet or sit down meal event at your choice of venue albeit at home or other private space.
